Maybe after thirty or fouty years, when people who wished to own an Evo when they were young but couldn't afford one get older and richer there will be a demand for Evos. Just like 60's muscle cars are worth 10X what they originally did 40 years ago

Thats what Im thinking. In 10 years that 2003 viii IF in pristine condition will become a classic and a collectors item.

And just think of all the interest you would be pissing away by letting a 30k car sit for 15-20years on a potential return you would gain

OR you would be smart...and put that 30k into a mutual fund for 20years at 10% yields

I just traded my 03 VIII for a IX, and they can keep it. Regardless of the year the Evo will probably not be a serious collectors car. Do you see a lot of people trying to get their hands on a IV or V? No.

30 or 40 years down the road it might be, but what isn't? Anything that lasts that long or is that old turns into a collectors item usually.

All they have to do is add all this things and let the public use them for a year or two. Then after all the fine tuning is done, they are incorporated into the new production car, the Evo X.
japan's mitsu cars have had mivec for awhile, the evo ix is far from a test mule. its just the US has the watered down version.

I would love to get my hands on any Evo I-VII, especially the 6.5 TME

I would say the TB Evo IX MR's with appearance package are gonna be very cought after (only 500 made in USDM trim) due to manufacter error. I also would say that the LY IX will be sought after wince it was brought to the states, it's only in JDM/UK trim i believe
