Evo2 clutch problems

I am having problems with my clutch pedal, my clutch used to be stiff before where u actually had to use some muscle to push it down. Now the clutch is soft as can be and sometimes while driving the pedal will only return up half way. Also the clutch engagement point tends to fluctuate alot? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

How's your fluid level? I had something similar happen with my starlet and it actually got so bad that I would have to lift the pedal back up with by foot between shifts. Mine ended up being a leaky boot on the clutch pedal piston that comes through the firewall and connects to the clutch pedal. It eventually leaked bad enough that I could see some fluid inside the car and I had to replace everything. You may have something just stuck in the system somewhere killing the pressure. You might want to try doing a flush of the system and refilling it all with new fluid once it's all cleaned out.
