Need help

I just installed an aftermarket spring (Esliper) on my evo. Now when i drive the car i feel the handle is not as good as before. I dont know why the sterring wheel so shaky. Like when i drove on the freeway i have to hold the sterring wheel more tight than before. I had already done the alignment on the car. Is it normal ? Thanks for the help !!!!

From reading other post, ive heard that springs suck with the other suspension suspension componets of the car. If you do any spring/shock upgrades get some coilovers.

Springs alone are not recommended, but that is not what's causing the problem he's describing..

Are your tires on tight? 80 ft/lbs of torque, just hook a honda civic up to your lugs and go WOT to get that correct. If not, you put something together wrong, like warr said, springs on there own serve no purpouse other than looking good, but they shouldnt do what your describing.

Maybe your alignment wasnt done properly. I would have them redo the alignment, paying special attention to camber and toe. Also check tire wear and balance the wheels
