G-force on Evo??

Anyone here use G-force device that plug in your cig. lighter to calculate hp and tq.?? Are those reading acurate or inaccurate?? Anyone one has input on this??
If this device is precise, there will be no need for dyno anymore!!!!

It's a simulation - not the real thing. It does not replace the need for a dyno...

A dyno does a lot more than just show you peak horsepower (which is all those G-Meters do, I believe)

Being able to see precise HP and Torque curves from a real dyno are always going to be useful

They're fun to play with, the g-tech comes with shift lights which is kinda nice, but the dyno part is not accurate at all.

I pulled over a g in acceleration with just a TBE/MBC and flash =p

Cool

I personally think its alot of fun. Yeah no **** there not as accurate as a dyno, but at least you can get a base line and see if your mods make a difference or if they are hurting your car. + it does 0-60 and quarter mile. I have the gtech pro rr I really like it. There is also another software that will plot out the road course you record and show each g at each turn. Its like an extra 20 bucks
