Seibon Hood

What kind of problem do you think you will have with no vent? Turbo'd cars have been running ventless hoods for many years. You will have a little more heat under the hood, but no significant problems will arise.

Stay away from Seibon. The quality of their work has gone downhill in their recently made products. Everything from horrible weave to cracking of the clearcoat directly from the factory. I have seen 5 recent Seibon hoods, all with either one or more of the problems listed.
Look towards high quality hoods such as the one from Robi of Robispec. It's very possible for a CF hood, such as Seibon, that uses a fiberglass hood with CF laid on top to weigh more than the stock hood.

ok were the vent is there, is supposed to be a cover under there. the stock one has the has openings for air to get out but keeps alot of the rain out. The piece that came with the seibon hood is a full cover - it doesnt have opening for air to get out. The stock hood vent doesnt fit at all, therefore im wondering what other people have done to keep things out while still getting the hot air out

It is off topic but he is not lying. My hood is the same way. If you did not buy it yet, don't. The poor quality cracks very easy and seibon tries to lie and say people are slamming there hoods and crap so they will not cover it. They will not deal with customers direct.

It wont hurt having it on, im sure you could cut your own slots in the piece they give you....for mine i will take it completely off, but since its snowing and to keep all the snow from falling in, im just keeping the piece they gave me on there till summer. For the stock vent, i didnt look real close but i was guessing you could drill new screws into the hood to put the stock vent on. But also i think all carbon fiber hoods come with the same type plastic vent with no cuts, my vis hood was the same way
