Zeitronix Help Needed pls....

Ok so I bought the Zeitronix ZT2 w/ Boost sensor and wired it up according to the schematic and cannot get the thing to work. Basically, when I hook up my laptop via the serial connection (Comm 1) and wait 30+ seconds, I get no data on any of the feeds (RPM, TPS, AFR, Boost, lambda, etc.). I have confirmed that the power and ground are good, but have no idea how to determine if the main unit is DOA or whether there is a serial cable issue.

Here is how I have my EVO 9 wired:

ZT2 Pin #
1 (red) – I tapped this into ECU pin # 47 wire (ignition switch)
2 (white) – don't use
3 (green) - wired this to ECU pin # 45 wire (tachometer)
4 (orange) – wired this to the Green Boost sensor wire
5 (white / blue) – not used yet, but I will wire the Alarm / Light later
6 (yellow) – wired this to the Red Boost sensor wire
7 (Black) -- ECU pin # 46 wire (sensor earth)
8 (Sensor Ground) -- ECU pin # 49 wire (power ground)
9 – not used
10 (grey) -- ECU pin # 78 wire (TPS)
11 (brown) – wired this to the Black Boost sensor wire
12 – not used

Did I use the correct sensor ground? What would cause none of the display options to show? I had planned to publish a detailed How to with pictures as none exists for the 9, but now with this issue I can't say that I am
confident with my setup. Thanks

EDIT: EVERYTHING IS WORKING FINE EXCEPT MY SERIAL PORT.....THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR HELP.

No I don't have the LCD....Yes I used the ECU Pinout but frankly that is why I posted how I wired my unit to see if I made a mistake....Unfortunately I suspect that my unit is DOA....Very frustrating...

make sure the com port in device manager is the same one set in the program. or you may have faulty wiring or a unit.
