LIP install

I'm thinking of installing the Lower intercooler pipe today.

Do I need to remove the front bumper?

Do I need to jack up the car?

How difficult is to do it?

Thanks

hey whats up, Yes you need to remove the front bumper, also make sure you are using t-bolt clamps to tighten the new licp up.. also it is a piece of cake to install, it is more like installing a intake on a civic.. haha..

All the things you requested will make the job alot easier! I would recomend chacking car and taking bumber off. Make sure everything is tight so it doesnt blow off after you put bumber on.

Not so much of the bumper as it is the undertray. And yes you should jack-up the car. But yes taking both off will make it pretty easy.

+1.
No need to remove the bumper. The plastic undertray needs to come off though.

You definetly do not have to take off the bumper, just the underpanel. It is an ez job to do. Just take your time.

dont need to remove the bumper just the underpanel but it is a pain to reach the bolts for the bracket on the licp. if i install it again i would take off the bumper to make it easier. also make sure u get t bolt clamps ok.

No you don't "need" them but they are nice to have you if up the boost. Leave the bumper on for sure I was able to swap my IC without taking it off.

What he said^. You dont need t-bolt clamps unless your gonna crank up the boost. On my 03 8 my uicp would pop off the throttle body at least twice a month at 23 psi of boost. After putting on just those two t-bolt clamps it never happened again.
