He didnt hit the guy from the back. If you hit someone from the back you are at fault and that's why your state law is setup that way. The majority of rear ending accidents are because someone wasnt paying attention at all or because they were following too close although there is the deliberate act of slamming on your brakes so you can get rear ended (insurance fraud).
But back to this accident... he T-boned him because the guy was crossing over his lane by blowing a stop sign. The front of his car hit the side of the vehicle that crossed his right of way.
Some accidents are just unavoidable, glad your car wasnt damaged too much and that nobody was injured.

Why? He drove on tires that turn into skis in the snow. He went to a mall, of all things, and that was solely his choice. If another emergency situation took place, he would not be able to turn his wheel and have the car follow. That put innocent folks in danger due to pure selfishness and stupidity.

He smashed his car due to a lack of control driven by his tires and an apparent inability to control his vehicle. He shouldn't have been out there in the first place.
Christ
....he smashed his car because some kit ran through an intersection. Its bad enough as it is.

He woulda probably hit him regardless. But those who run the advans in winter are just asking for trouble. Should probably just run some Hoosiers in the rain, ya might get better traction than running the advans in the snow.
