Good to hear that nobody was seriously injured and...........
It's nice to hear that you went to the doctor quickly for treatment; you neevr know what maybe out of order.
I was involved in an T-bone accident 10+ years ago (where the other driver ran a red light and hit the passenger side which I was the passenger too) that resulted in 10+ months of physical therapy for my back and neck.
At least your son was not in the car; if it were me and I had a child in the car I would be quite angry to say the least.
I hope you recover fully

i realize its super expensive on the evo... i know any little hit is at least 5k... i was just comparing, if it was an accord or a grand am. it would sooo cheap to fix.
i was rear ended 2 years ago, i needed a new bumper and tail light, the bill was 560. to get a brand new one, prep, paint, tail light and labor.
i think thats what drives insurance up.. not the fact its an accident. every time there is one they have to shell out 20k+ i doubt theyre making any money from evo's.
cheers!

I do get stopped for my tinted windows (5% limo all around). However, I have never been cited (obviously). The idiot gangbangers in So. Central LA, like to follow coppers home and ambush them..... SOOO cops never cite for that...they can relate themselves.. (95% of cops have limo tint on their cars for that reason....tactics)

I am probably going to keep the car...I am not a huge fan of the styling of the X. Besides....I got the report from the body shop that the pan/frame (if you can call it a frame) is straight. I am partial to this year and make....it's the first US model ya know?

I hear you.... the problem in California is that cops cannot cite for a misdemeanor (traf cite) NOT commited in their presence. And well.....I was off duty! I am really not upset.... based on statistics, as drivers we will be in a large wreck on the average of every ten years (at fault or not). So i look at it this way, I am good for ten more years!
