Vendor sent me CP9A brakes..

I just recieved my Evo 8 brakes (or so i thought) from stikiller.com, after waiting a week, and having my car grounded for more than 2 weeks, i spent a couple hours trying to change my brake pads (Project Mu B-Force), it was my first time changing brakes so it took longer than i expected.

Anyway, once i flushed the pistons with the brake caliper tool, i wasnt able to fit in my brakes... after about an hour of confusion i realized on the box they were noted as CP9A (Evo 5 and Evo 6) brakes...

My question is, can CP9A brakes fit Evo 8's (is it universal, thats why they shipped them to me?), cause if not, i'll have to ask for new ones fit for mine..

Thanks..

On the brembo equipped evos discs, pads and calipers are all interchangeable. So there must be some other reason the pads are not fitting.

^^NO....it have to be CT9A only pads. CP9A pads will not work for the evo 7 8 9. so please don't say it's interchangeable. and please don't say the brembo caliper is the same. thanks

They are interchangable, I was running Padgid Blue pads in my evo6 which are now in my parents evo9, I am now running Project Mu HC+ pads for an evo9 in my evo6.

All the discs, pads and calipers are shared across the whole evo range.

As long as it is the Brembo setup they'll fit.

All interchangable from the V,VI,VII,VIII and assuming IX.

IV use the older 2 pot front setup.
