To be honest, I would run an intake and a forge Diverter valve. It will be way loud enough for you to hear, as well as everyone else around you, plus you wont have to deal with a rich condition or bad idleing. Just get a good custom tune.

Redfire all you want is the sound. then get an aftermarket intake like the hks rs, AEM, or the buschur. this will make your stocker come to life and make the sound like a vta but just not as loud.

yeah but even AMS has said dont not get an intake without a tune.

of course, but instead of buying the BOV + the HKS electronic stablizer and eventually getting tuned. just get the intake along with your other mods, keep the stock ix unit and get tuned. just trying to save you some money and headaches later on down the road.

you shuld get an intake and a greattd type s and recirculat it
the gressdy type s is one of the best sounding bov's and it can recirculate it back into the intake

how can i "just get a tune"? maybe i need to do some more catching up but when i had my last evo u couldnt tune without buying a UTEC or EMS. and i dont have 1700 bucks right now to get one.

yea you need some catching up to do. there are many options to tune your car cheaply and safely.

yeah well i lost the evo in 04 so i have been out of the loop for a while. so if i went to MZM as is they could do me a good little tune for an intake?

well many people have been launching their evos consistanly. but of course the clutch and transer case will be the first to go. so many uprade the clutch, but as a previous evo owner you should know this.

the axels i don't know, but anything that takes abuse over time will eventually give.
