My mileage has gone down to.Its definetely the cold weather and i dont know about you but i have been letting my car warm up until the gauge starts to come off cold. When i first noticed the mileage going down i realized it was the combination of the extreme cold weather and the car warming up for ten minutes while i,m getting ready to go out.

Those are really low rates. I don't see the same cold weather here and have not noticed a significant drop in milage. Bummer.

ya I asked the same question on mievo.net here http://www.mievo.net/talk/showthread.php?t=1726

And the consensus is after the winter blend 94 oct in MI ends up being the equivilent of a little over 91 oct. So it can hurt your performance a bit.

Right now I am getting really bad gas mileage. The time it takes me to drive to work is about equal to the time I let my car warm up. I also live very close to work. Right now I am at 162 miles on the tank and I really need to fill up tomorrow. So I am guessing I will end up with 12-13mpg.

What's wrong with your cars !!! I just got back from S.C. 550miles one-way. Got
350miles on a tank. 13.1 gallons to fill up. 26.71mpg at 70-90mph.

Always put in 13.1gallons to be consistant.

I get between 280-300 in combined city/hwy with mad launches !!!

I only use Shell 93 or Sunoco 93 oct. gas.

My mods are HKS TBE,Hallman MBC set to 20psi,TurboSmart DP BOV and an air filter.
60k miles

WOW, I am so relieved by your testimonies. I have been experiencing declining MPG since the temperature started to creep below the 30's and I have been really worried ever since, and the only thing my car has is an HKS drop in panel. I was usually getting between 230-240 mile sper tank, my commute also sucks, it is 14 miles roundtrip with mixed highway and city.

it's cold here in Bama lately 30's and I'm still at around 22mpg. After my break-in you can imagine I am enjoying my new MR. So I would guess that at Hwy sppeds long trip I could get around 26-27mpg...sounds like somethings wrong to me...

I miss my VIII. I could get 24mpg with the Vishnu v550 kit, big turbo, injectors, cams, cam gears, XEDE.

This stupid almost stock IX gets 19mpg.

The shorter 5th gear is one factor, the lack of XEDE is the other factor.
