Very bad MPG...Please help...

no u dont have to wait until the water temp starts moving to go, your wasting gas so theres strike one. on a direct injection engine, u can take it easy and start driving once the RPMS smooth out.

second, o2 sensors gradually die from various reasons. in most cases they do not just burn out suddenly, they go gradually via wear or deposits.

its the winter fuel man. mine is down to 10-13 mpg it sucks ***** but nothing I can do about it. I also do 75% city tho but still 130 miles per tank = huge hit on the wallet

When its -15 degrees with the wind chill, believe me you would want to warm the car up intil that gauge moves all the while with the heat on. If its not that cold i let it warm up for 2 minutes and take off keeping it out of boost until the needle comes up.Normally i get 17 -20 depending how how i drive(locally) and 25 at a steady 75 mph on the highway.

It seems the majority of the gas guzzlers are IXs. I'd say it's the gearing of the
tranny. As for the V///s, check your plugs. And remember in certain parts of the US,
Maryland included, they have oxygenated gasoline in the winter months. You WILL
lose some MPGs during the winter months. But who buys an Evo for the gas milage?

I know I did not. But I have been tracking my milage as I have been modding the
car and have seen an increase in milage and power. And I'm still running rich !!!
Dang black soot on my bumper...looks like i drive a diesel!!
