Mitshubishi Sales stuff blows..
Well, lets just say that i have been to 3 different Mitshubishi dealers and i wont be buying an evo anymore, sales stuff is terrible. So i have to go to plan be>subaru wrx sti.
Another thing is, how are people saying that evo is cheaper, maybe when u get the plain RS version, but financing is crazy high comparing to subaru, dont get me wrong i love evo's but from the experience i had with the dealers, i wont be getting one.
Can someone point me to the right dealer, I live in NY, queens.
Thanks.

Don't finance through a dealer. Why wouldn't you just hit up your bank or something? What sales stuff are you talking about? If you know what you want, I'd try talking to one of the west coast dealers that sell theirs cheap, and have them ship it over here. I hear great things about some of the dealers in CA.

That seems like a stupid reason not to get an Evo. ......because the sales sales staff sucks. If you know what you want just go pick it out. Not that hard. Get your financing somewhere else.

High financing is can believe. When I went to buy my Evo IX, they were charging me like 20% APR. I said thank you and bye. Went to my local Credit Union, opened an account with them with $50, and was pre-approved, without running credit, for a $40,000 loan. Had my car the next week at a different dealershio that did the price that I said over the phone. Was in & out in 1 hour, enjoying my car!
Do not finance through dealerships, they are thieves.
My apr is 5.85%.

1. Finance through a outside bank
2. Mitsubishi sales and service are the worst in the buisness
3. Get an EVO shipped to your door from Mark at South Coast Mitsubishi (They are a vendor on here)
4. Wait till you see the insurance difference between the EVO and STI. Insurance on the STI was unbeliveably higher.

The first dealer i went to said that they r not available and they dont make them anymore, the second dealer was to busy to talk to me, i waited 40min for him and gave up.. The third said that he spoke to his manager and they cant do anything better than $37,000 for the MR version cause thats the 1 i want. I thought it was kind of high, he didnt want to tell me the price at all, i asked him 4 times for it, cause i had an offer for $36,000 and i told him that, he seemed like he didnt wanna talk to me at all, so i left.
What are u guys getting from the bank, APR wise?

Go into the dealer and TELL them EXACTLY what your willing to pay and tell them to make it happen. They WILL come back at you and try to get more out of you thats just the way it goes but chances are if you stick to your guns they will call you up a couple days later and give it to you IF your reasonable. Also Im not sure what your plans are for the car but a lot of times the MR tends to be over priced for what the average buyer wants to do with it. Its suppose to be the top "performance" package but its more like the "commuter" package. Try to get a SE

Realize this is a really expensive car that appeals to a really small demographic and that it is the slowest time of year to sell cars and that the car is probably worth $10k less than MSRP as a trade-in now that the 07s are out and a new model is on the way next year. All that should add-up to you paying nowhere near MSRP.
