Aftermarket Head gasket?

I've ordered the ARP Head studs to fit with fixing the GSC cams and the 50Trim kit.

I've read contraversial opinions about changing the studs 'one by one' and not really keen on doing so... In such a case, should i get a new OEM head gasket to replace the old one or is there an aftermarket gasket i can buy that'll be a better seal to the block?

Thanks for your reponses and opinions,

Wael

I did mine "one by one" over a year ago and I have had no problem. The stock Head gasket is fine, even with that big turbo.

Honestly the oem gasket is pretty hard to beat. From what I understand, the oem IX gasket actually has more layers to it than the VIII one so you should be even better off

I heard AMS is using the oem 9 gaskets on all of the cars now. I haven't seen one in person but hear that the 9's gasket has more layers to it. Give them a call and maybe they'll share their experience with it's compatiblity on the 8.

that's an odd recommendation since AMS recommends sticking with the stock head gasket.
