Tinting Price?

Tinting Price?
I'm thinking of getting my windows tinted at this place:
http://www.textint.com/toppage1.htm
Their website says it runs between $190 and $260. Does that seem reasonable?

I got mine done for $185. You should shop around for a better price. But the most important thing is to find a place where they do a good job on the tint. You can either go to the place that you've had good experience with, or go to a place where your friends recommend. Places that are more expensive doesn't mean they'll do a better job than a cheaper place.

Got mine done for $160, with their top of the line titanium tint, computer cut film, lifetime warranty etc. Lots of tinters down here in Florida, so its a competitive market.

I did mine for something like 240... this was from a very respected and well known shop in the area, plus included was a life time warrenty again fading, pealing, bubbling and the like.

I think mine was between $130 - $150 from a local shop for their next best stuff. The best stuff was like $180 and was a full metal tint. The tint I got still includes lifetime warranty against fading, bubbling, peeling, etc. It's just not full metal. I had the same film on my previous car and it worked out just fine.
You can also look in your phone book to see if anyone has a coupon in the back. I think the place I used had a $10 off or 10% off type coupon that I used.
Another thing to watch for is the shop putting a "logo" underneath the tint. Several shops do that down here in Austin, including the one I've used. You can request that they not do it, otherwise they'll throw it in, and I think it looks pretty tacky.

I don't think that is too much if they do a good job and don't jack up the inside of your car. I paid 240 for mine because they do top quality work and that is what matters, you have to take care of your investment! If you got someone on the inside though more power to ya.
