WOW I really dont know what to say. My good friend had this on his 2003 evo 8 which had a evo 9 20g installed and it fit and worked no problem. originally he had it working with his stock 8 turbo and then he bought a evo9 20g from me and cut the outlet pipe to work. His car was running 33 psi without a problem and the FMIC was perfectly level. As far as i know the chassis is the same on the evo 8 and evo 9, the bolt holes should be perfect. As far as Buschur changing the FMIC design, yes I knew that but KYLE (my friend) never had an issue with his. I DID have a problem with mine and CHRIS had a problem with his as we were all using this fmic on our 8's. KYLE"S INTERCOOLER NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. I have a perrin on my new evo now and I know perrin is the same for the 8 and for the 9. The holes are all in the same spot, I dont understand. Every other intercooler fits 8's and 9's. I dont even understand how the piping isnt lining up as I saw it with my own eyes lined up on his car perfectly.

I know that he sawed off the top piece because it wasnt fitting from day one. I'm so sorry for this but I just dont know what to say. I can try to sell it someone else if you want with an evo 8 if that is better? What can I do to make this up to you? I can hook you up the best I can on any parts you want to buy from us? I really am amazed about this whole thing. I'm def done selling parts for people!!!

Wasnt buschurs fault at all... i was told it was taken off a IX from a seller, and wasnt mentioned that it wasnt meant to fit a IX.... no wonder he was getting rid of it..

and i advertised the FMIC was on an evo 8 and was modded to fit a 9. Being that the only difference between a 8 and 9 as far as this is concerned is the turbo,,, I was not dishonest in my description

Thanks for chiming in steve, hope ya don't think i was bashing you by the thread. The original post was looking for information to make it work. Never said you were a dishonest seller, you told me i guess what i needed to know. its just unfortunate that it doesnt fit properly.

Steve and I are working this out professionally through PM's.
