It's snowing again here in Chicago and it's another great day to own an Evo. I read another thread and saw a post from somebody in Chicago with a garaged Evo for the winter. This car is the most capable snow car I've ever owned. I can't imagine missing out on one of the best reasons to own an Evo. It's like having a smoking hot lady and never being able to see her in a swimsuit. Do you hide away your Evo from the snow?

^Yes and my engine bay still looks like it came off the showroom floor (well if mine wouldve came off the show room floor that is). It is the salt alone that makes me garage it. That and the cinders they throw down here. Mitsu paint mixed with wintery mix of cinders and salt at 65+mph on the highway = freshly painted front end every 2 years.....no thanks.

The Evo is WAY WAY beyond "works fine in the snow".

No clue why you think that. The only thing that hurts the evo in snow is rim width. Look at my previous pic in the snow. 5 inch rim with ws-50. I do circles around Audi's and Lexi(plural form). I'm serious. I've watch Lexus drivers crash in my rear view cause the think they can corner as fast as I do.

You know, having just pulled it out from winter storage I've realized I appreciate it that much more. The car is like a new car come every spring. Still smells new, acts new, and is new to me. Plus, the power difference always is a nice surprise coming from my winter beater/daily driver Subie wagon.
