finally, i have shifter base bushings comin in too cuz my 2-3 and 3-4 shifts are hard as hell!! so hopefully these 3 shifter mods will help, if not, call tre for a tranny rebuild
there is nothing wrong my my trans to call tre it shifts very good. You seem like to have a lot of problems with 2-3 3-4 and those are not as much load as coming off that first gear.

Actually there is more load in higher gears.

shifter bushings, stainless clutch line, removed restrictor and proper clutch adjustment especially with that ACT will make a WORLD of difference.

As you can tell by my sig I have the poly bushings for the shifter and transmission. I am looking at getting the poly front mount bushing. I have heard good things about the Forge one. As anybody had any experience with the Buschur Racing one?

I have only used the Powerflex one. The BR is even more tough and will definately make vibration into the cabin much more evident.

These shi**y transmissions are pretty much like the 1g and 2g trannies. You gotta give em' the "Mitsu flip". Once you learn how to shift them, they shift smooth as buttah. Resting your hand on the shifter and excessive force is what kills them. Besides those very few that have too much power.

Edit: Road Race Engineering sell some nice motor mounts that aren't too stiff.

I have the ACT 6 puck, I adjusted the clutch engagement a little higher and it was night and day. I went to the track yesterday and ran some really impressive times. link to time slips https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=256060

After reading a lot of posts and corresponding with some vendors I decided to buy the Forge front motor poly mounts. The other ones I looked at were too firm. I should have them in a few days. I'll post a review once I install them.

Yeah the BR has no flex to it, it is as close to getting steel motor mounts as I have ever seen.
