Greddy EBC spiking crazy in snow...im from Fl

i decieded to take a last minute trip to go skiing in west virginia. havent driven the car in weather below 60 so that just requires a minor adjustment, just 1 or 2 percent gain.

well i drove and got down to 30 degree weather and i started getting higher spikes, 28+ pounds. i'm not running methanol, just 93oct & 20 pounds.

i now have it turned down to wastegate and its spiking 26 pounds... pretty crazy.

is that normal in 10-30 degree weather?

ps.... i now understand what everyone means when ya say driving on sport tires in the winter is stupid. it snowed couple inch's last night and we were driving my car back to the room from a restuarant on the mountain, 2 mile drive.... anything more than 5-10 mph the car was all over the road... possibly scariest thing ever, i've never felt like i have no control over the car.

cheers!

I would consider rechecking your boost lines. I had a problem with overboosting before and it turned out to be a hole in one of my lines.

what are your profec settings right now? you helped me with my set-up originally, but i had to make alot of adjustments to compensate for the colder temps, so the problem may be that you're set-up for fl temps/weather conditions.

i do not think it's normal to be spiking at 28psi or even 26psi...
I am from MA and it's cold here. But I barely spike over 22-23psi... Most of the time it doesn't really spike at all

same here...im in jersey and with the temp drop from like 40 to 15 i have to turn down my set from 55% to like 30%+/-. If i dont i i hit the boost limiter and get nasty backfires, im guessing i would see atleat 25 psi if i didnt turn it down. I think it is an inherant problem with the greddy. I am constantly adjusting it with temperature varations.
