I have the 1g crushed recirculated and the a/f still goes a little rich between shifts, maybe 13.0 at the most. So I would imagine vta will go even richer. I will report back in a couple days when I install the tial setup as I will be getting the aem very very soon.

You can always trust a Bosch valve, there's mainly 3 different setups, the standard plastic (Bosch #0280142103) , the more 'cocky' plastic one (0280142102)
standard in Porche 944, or the metal one (0280142108) standard in 993 Porches.

Any of the 2 latter is good for stage 1 + on Evo:s

Good lord, the Tial is terrible on the stock ecu. A/F goes as rich as 10.1 between shifts, and the car hesistates inbetween shifts due to the overly rich condition, stutters at part throttle/throttle blip....

Tial holds boost well, but I took mine back off after less than 30 minutes of driving with it. It will sit in my room until the aem goes on...the same day.

I think I would have been a little more forgiving on the Tial, but going from a really good stock bov, which holds boost just as good as the Tial, to the Tial...was a night and day difference.

(I have the dejon tool leak stop kit and crushed valve)

You may not throw a code or blow up, but you might melt some of your bumper on to your exhaust... looks pretty sweet though

If you are running EMS why don't you go speed density? That should solve your problem....

I run a TiAL on my 2g DSM, but I've heard that the forge recirculating uses the same diaphragm design. I would think it could hold some pretty good boost depending on how far you plan to take the stock MAF. I havn't looked into it any further because my IX SE stock DV is working fine for the time being.

Alfred from Tuning Technologies is running the Tial on ECU only as well.

No problems either...

Just a warning to those of you that are thinking of doing this. Boost response will suffer between shifts, and the car WILL be slower, I've personally tested this myself. If you no lift shift you will not have a problem but as soon as you lift and then roll back into the throttle you will see what I mean.
