Did you get his plate? I think you could have called the cops and got him busted for it.

Class 8 trucks could keep driving in the event of a blowout but it is illegal to do so. Both trucks were more than likely neglegent. One truck did not secure its load and the other blew the tire. The driver of the truck who lost a tire more than likely did not manage tire pressure or did a poor pre-trip inspection. At least you are okay. A truck tire can very easily kill you. Hopefully the truck did stop and check to make sure you were okay and you were able to get his info.

That sucks! It has happened to me before but no damage just a loud thud when I ran over the tire.

My favorite saying: Why fix when you can upgrade!

dude be glad its an evo... like honestly everyone always complains about the parts on things... but if it was anything else you would be taking it to a bodyshop and having it put back to a condition that would never be as good as it was before. but because its an evo you are going to make it better :-) EVO LOVE BABY!

I ended up with a broken leg, arm, fractured hip, fractured vertebrae, and torn knee tendon. Honestly, I nearly died.

Just remember that a car can always be fixed. You can't.

But it still sucks. cause that could have been avoided, and he's pissed cause that happened. I agree that it would suck to get injured, but he shouldn't relax and be all happy cause he's not injured, he could be happy if not nothing was damaged at all
