wiring new mirrors

wiring new mirrors

couldnt find anything through searching. i ordered the rexpeed ganador look side view mirrors and want to wire them up. do you know what color wires from the stock mirror harness is positive, negative, and ground? thanks

off topic, but when you get them installed please post up pictures thanks.. sorry i couldn't help though I want to purchase these too but was worried about wiring them up..

It is more complicated than that. There are eight switches in the control. There are two motors in each mirror, up/down and left/right. The switches reverse the ground so the motors can run in both directions.

Brown connects to both motors. The other two wires connect to one motor each. If the mirror doesn't run in the correct direction, reverse this second set of wires.

This worked for me:
driver side: red-blue, black-green, white-white
pass. side: white-white, red-blue, black-yellow

i first cut the stock harnes from the stock mirrors. using the driver side harnes i wired it up following the above to the new driver side rexpeed mirror. after all connections its completly plug and play. i then moved on to the pass. side and did the same.

its good. its not as good as stock because you dont have as much mirror but they are functional unlike the ones that are for lhd vehicles

Got mine installed as well. Are you guys getting any wind noises from the mirrors. I am getting some high pitch, whistle noise when cruising above 60mph.

i am getting the sound too. i double checked and the bolts are tight and stock "gasket" is seated properly. oh well as long as they dont leak water
