Evo's in the shop...

* Front Calipers being replaced under warranty (peeling)
* Rear wing being replaced under warranty (fading)
* Resurfacing rotors - for the 3rd time (vibration upon braking)
* Installing my new Ferodo DS2500 pads

They checked my transmission because I was getting a slight grind into 5th above 3k RPM. Said it was fine. I'm sure it will just get worse.

I'm excited to have brakes that won't transfer in the wet!

Brand new front calipers look great except for my filthy rims.

New wing looks like - well a new wing.

Ferodo pads need to be bedded in - will do that tonight when the streets around my house are more deserted.

They said they couldn't recreate the 5th gear grind. I told the dude he didn't go fast enough.

I've never even had to convince City Mistu here in Jax - just told em about stuff and they fixed it.

BTW - here's an excellent site on brakes that I used for my bedding procedure on the Ferodos: http://www.raceshopper.com/tech.shtml

And the number to City Mitsu is 904-565-2489. It's on Atlantic Blvd near 9A. They have a few really good techs there - the guy that did the work knew a lot about the Ferodos and bedding, etc.
