Service Price Good Deal or Rip Off?
I called the dealership and no one in GA is willing to sell me the Fluids alone for the transfer case, rear deff, and transmission.
I have two options
1. Buy Other Fluids other than OEM or (heard you could lose your warranty over different fluids)
2. Do the service for 185 dollars? 90 dollars labor rest is fluids
Which it doesn't seem like a bad deal 185.00 tax included for all transfer case rear def and transmission

and your dealer wont turn you away on a warranty claim unless they are true a-holes...just make sure you save receipts from any purchases and write everything down in your service manual to keep a good log in case you do ever need to get warranty work done

Well let me say it is the man if you have part numbers. I would say do it yourself. It is really easy and you save a lot in the long run. I would keep oem fluids in the tc and rear diff. With the 5spd you can use some non oem gear oils. There are some good threads discussing this.

i second the whole not letting someone else work on my car...unless you dont know exactly what your doin'...so if i were you i'd go get all the parts/fluids from another dealer ('cause thats bs that they werent willing to sell it to you), save some money and do it yourself! if of course you're capable of doin the job right!
