what does the ETACS look like?

Im just trying to do some testing to figure out why my park lights are staying on all the time, and Im trying to make sure of what the ETACS ecu is. Im assuming it is the red box bolted on to the back of the interior fuse panel. can anyone confirm this for me?

and has anyone ran into this problem with their interior lights staying on? This car is nearly stock, with only a boost guage light tapped into the dimmer switch, and an AFC tied in(dont know where, I was told it was installed at Buschur, 2-3yrs ago) any help would be great.

what does the ETACS control? I know the red box your talking about has something to do w/ power windows and doorlocks but not sure about it being the actual ETACS ecu...

the ETACS controls a bunch of stuff off the column and includes the power windows, doors, keyless entry, tones/warnings, etc...

might be a faulty relay in the front ecu (the front ECU is a bunch of relays and a FET, and a few other minor things). Best way to check is pop out the front ECU, take it apart and energize the seperate relays see if they are working properly... or try someone elses front ecu. It could be a short also, somewhere between the column (switch) and lights. If you have an aftermarket alarm, double check the connections.

If this were the case, I would think the taking the front ECU out would then turn the lights off. am I mistaken in how that works?
