They are polyurethane. I have the Ingalls Stiffy already on stiffest setting. It did make a difference, but not as much as I'd like. I also installed a SS line from Works. That REALLY helped with shifting, along with removing the restrictor pill.

OKAY!!
Finally installed these over the weekend. Did not get to the lower rear as I could not reach it. Anyways, the car feels so much better. Vibrations are slightly incresed and pleasant. The seat now fels like you are seating on a massage chair on the lowest setting, very confotable after a day at work. This is only at idel, when cruising its just like stock.
As far a sthe installation goes, I started with the front lower mount first, which turned out to be a bad idea. The way the installation should have gone is Passenger side first, the lower front and lastly the drive's side. The reason for this is beacause you have to drop the tranny down to remove the driver's side mount. this is accomplished by raising the engine by the oil pan from the passenger's side and letting it pivot on its axis. Make sure that the lower front engine mount is also loosened.
As far as presing out the bushings, I used drill to make a hole for the Sawsall with metal saw attachement to saw off the inner metal bushing. After that was cut, I used a flathead to hammer the cut side, in order to releive the bushing from the mount housing. Then lubed the Powerflex bushings and installed them. Torqued all the nuts and bolts to the proper torque settings, cleaned up my garage and took it out for a spin.
The car sounds so much better. There is no more flexing of the engine.
PM me if there are any questions about the installation, or if you need help installing them.

Actually you'll get more vibration with the poly bushings over the stock rubber ones. Though you'll get much better feel and way less engine flex with the polys. Much needed in racing

With the polys, I dont get that rocking motion whe n I let go of the throttle really fast. For $184 shipped and 6 hours after, I think its the best money I have spent so far on the Evo.
