Dang, that's the first in car video I've seen of an Evo drag racing, that was awesome... Regardless of comments... If only I had someone to pay for a burnt up clutch/drivetrain... Any takers?

Nice run! Im surprised the guy didnt know what kind of car it was or that it was AWD. What type of car did you run against? What did they run? What was your rt, 60', and mph?
Ive got 51k on my car, i need to take it to the track after a recent tune and see what itll run with new 272/ 272cams and an exedy twin HD clutch . I know its faster with the new clutch, not only form the butt dyno but also because i had a dip in the chart when i last dynoed the car with the stock clutch at 49k miles.

Was that Beaver Springs you were racing at....Ive been there acouple of times and Beaver Bob is usually pretty cool with the evo's...but the track is an uphill track so not the best runs you can get....i took of a second going from Beaver Springs to Cecil....

I've been to Cecil a few times, and there aren't any more rednecks there than at any other race track. It doesn't matter how fast a Japanese car is, they will always be overlooked and take the backseat to the domestics at drag strips. That's just the way it is.
Domestics will always be the kings of the strip, while the imports will always be the kings of road courses. I'd personally rather be a "road course king" than a "drag strip king." Cars on road courses are fast and they handle well.

Yeah, I guess it depends on where you live, but regardless of where you live, there are always going to be stupid redneck hillbillies. Just understand that they're too stupid to know what anything but a Ford F-150 is.
