Pretty much it comes down to this. If you do have the gauges installed by Mitsu (should say if you got the car w/gauges) then the problem is there but you have'n't had experienced it yet. Its all within time when you'll get caught in that heavy rain and hit a few deep puddles. I too didn't have the flooding issue in my car but I repaired it before it would happen. You catch my drift. Its a quick fix that will save the the headache in the future.

Just curious, for those who had water leak problem/hacked job of an install...do you know where your port of entry was? Just wandering if the trouble cars are from a single POE. Mine was Maryland.

I havent noticed any leaks, but am definitely gonna start checking it. I unhooked the boost gauge, and installed an aftermarket one using the same vac hose. Never really occured to me to follow the hose. I did question the grounding, though. Ill soon be buying some new, and relocating all the gauges. Guess that would be a good time to reroute all of the wires through the firewall, and do a better ground.
