From NSX Back to Evo!

That being said, I met my wife of 7 years thanks to one of my cars. She was a good catch too, she is a doctor and races cars competitively. Hmmm, mayby a "poon" car isn't such a bad idea after all as she hates Evos so if I drove one then, I would have never met her!

yeah, I'm passed the "car to impress girls" stage. Mine actually likes the Evo and is supportive of the NSX being kept or sold. She know's I've had Vipers, 911's and everything in between. She's happy with whatever I'm happy with.
I will eventually add another exotic like a GT3, Gallardo or even another Viper GTS in teh future.

Having owned so many exotics and still liking the substantially cheaper import I'm curious to your opinion on the new vettes, their z06 and twin turbo like cousins.

Z06 is of course tremendous bang for the buck as well. I used to have a C5 Z06 and it was a great car that was tough to beat for an all-arounder. Relatively smooth ride with long wheelbase, good gas mileage believe it or not, stupid power, tip-toe lightweight handling, strong brakes, flex-free body etc.

id love to have an nsx one day myself. i imagine you just get bored with vehicles rather quickly like myself.. change is good, and the good thing is when you get tired of the next vehicle you get you can sell it to get something different. good luck with what ever you choose man.

I have an '06 IX with the "sun & sound" package; it's my daily driver. Love the leather, sun roof, and the stereo blasts me out of the thing . . . I wouldn't trade it for an MR, no thanks . . . raw, yes, but there's a certain appeal to that.

If you like drag racing you might want to stay away from the 6-spd. Appearently most 6spd people cant shift and blew their tranny for ****.
But on the other hand if you're not drag racing or slamming your clutch all day the MR 6spd is more than reliable enough.
The 6 spd was sold in Europe and Japan for years before it make it's way here and no issue with their tranny but here in US people do crazy launches at the drag strip. It seem people cant shift on the extra gear on the 6spd.

WOW are you serious? I think you meant if your not road coarsing it every other day.... Cause obviously thats the 6speeds weak point due to heat... Wheres Warr when you need him? O and if your drag racing or slamming your clutch all day both 5/6speed can give.
