That's a damn good question...it'd be nice to have some fresh air and sun while tearing apart the corners. I'm interested in an answer as well...

Well depending on what it is you want to do with the car I would not recommend the sun roof. It weakens the stability of the car! I guess if you are going to use it as a daily driver its ok but if you plan on using it as a race car and building it up a sunroof would not be a choice of mine!

I asked my dealer back in Janaury about the sunroof, and he said no. Don't know why he was so certain, of if he is even correct.

Sunroofs are nice but they are really just a $1000 window. You already have 6...save your $ for the aftermarket.

No from what i have been told no roof, there is a structual beam in the existing lancers roof, removal of this beam greatly affects the hrtz factor of the chassis, and with the high performance evo and stricter us crash standards (rollover and handling not mentioned) no factory roof will be available on the evo. There are aftermarket companies like "Holindia" who claim that thier roof actually increases roof structure with this beam removed- but I don't buy it.:soapbox: sorry to bla bla on

Right

Then explain to me why there is a sunroof in this photo which came from the evo brochure? Don't believe me? Look it up.

The question is not if they can do it, it's if they are going give it to us in one we get. Just with the WRX the sunroof is available overseas, just not in the wrx we get here. Yay.
