!!!!!! SES after a night at the track??

Hey guys, has anyones SES light come on after a night at the track, a few runs??? I have a TBE [no cat] but a mechanical o2 fix, mbc, drop in, and a tune from TT. Anyone? I'm thinking it is just my o2 sensor, hopefully i'm right, thanks for the replys in advance!

ok so it is the p0011, Cam timing. Did a little research, and it seems it is due to my tune and something with mivec????? I have STOCK cams. So, anyone, should I be worried about it or just clear it and forget about it? Thanks.

Run the code, could be a lose connection? Maybe 02 sensor got loose, etc.

could have been bad fuel, or it was running a little lean. i used to have mine come on every once in a while if the fuel wasnt fresh.

get it checked at Auto Zone for free. If you got ot the dealership, they will read the code and gather the stored information in the ECU on what the car was doing when the light tripped. Letting the dealership know it tripped at 100+mph probably isn't a good thing. It could be a number of things but not likely the O2 fix. I've been running the fix for abot a year with no light. Good luck!

If you haven't checked the code, then making this thread was a waste of time. When you get a code, the first thing you do is check it to see what it is. We aren't clairvoyant - how can we know what the problem is or may be if we don't know the code??

ASSuming that you're running spark plug anti-foulers to trick the O2 sensor?

ASSuming that you used leaded race fuel?

ASSuming that even though the anti-foulers were installed, the leaded race fuel was still enough for the O2 sensor to pick up? Track nights are usually mostly WOT runs, so maybe you just did a good "shake down" of your car and problems started appearing that would have normally been exposed during daily driving.

I can keep on ASSuming all day long, but until you post up some true facts as to what all of the variables are, it won't do much good.

The p0011 can be caused by advancing the intake cam timing significantly, and it's apparently not a worry, but it's up to your tuner to change the ECU settings so that it doesn't pop up again.
