wide band o2 question?

when installing a the aem wideband o2 gauge and sensor is it as simple as swapping out the o2 sensors and plugging up the gauge, or is there some ecu tuning that needs to be done, right now im on stock ecu. Can i just get a little feed back on the installation of one of these bad boys

No tuning needs to be done. Its a monitoring device thats all.. I am not sure how the install of the AEM is though. sorry. Every wideband I have used I needed to weld another bung for the wideband sensor

I'm pretty sure you have to have a bung put on your exhaust for the wideband.

Here is the UEGO gauge manual. You can find the manual for the controller on the site as well.

You can put the bung on your DP, but you can use the stock O2 location.

If you take off your DP and have the bung wleded on it, then yes you will have three O2 sensors. Two narrowband and one wideband.

Here is a post with pics to give you a better understanding of the install. This isnt the AEM install but it is basically the same thing.

it does not replace a current sensor, you must get a bung welded and install it... preferred place is before the cat on your DP. + there is a grommet there to run the wires.
