Glad they're going to fix the rust. I had the same problem, small rust spot from underneath the corner of the spoiler. Took it to dealership on a Monday, they took a pic, clld me and Tuesday, and had the trunk all refinished by a Thursday. One of the few things they have done right. Hope it all works out.

wow...good to know what you had to go through when it came to getting warranty service for rust. I just moved to Illinois from California and I myself am worried about rust. I guess I'll have to buy a winter car to avoid salt causing rust...so much for using the EVOs AWD in bad weather

Libertyville's a bunch of *****. Is that jerkwad Eric w/ the red Evo still working there as a salesman? I wanted to kick him in the nuts when I went in to look at buying an Evo there.

LMAO...

AMS FMIC
AMS upper and lower IC piping
AMS tbe
AMS test pipe
272/264 cams
cam gears
HKS intake
HKS BOV

I'm sure there is more that I can't think of off the top of my head.

It's funny, I went by there today and the Service Manger was actually a pretty decent guy. I mean come on, I was expecitng it when they saw and heard my car.

This was the nail in the coffin, since this is all they really saw beside my exhaust and FMIC. They had to take a picture of the odometer, and this is what they saw when they opened my door:

I don't know much about the sales department, but the parts guys are cool to deal with and to be quite frank, the service guys were alright too. I think they could've approached the situation a bit differently when I first came in, but thats about it.

.

Bill: Sorry to hear you are having problems with the car. I took my car to Libertyville Mitsu when I used to live near Gurnee and they were so **** about mods that they wrote on my service ticket that I had an aftermarket DROP IN filter and boost gauge. Good luck with the car. BTW, I'm the one that bought the RSR exhaust from you last year.
