BLACK It's finally here...
I promised myself I wouldn't post this but I think the excitement got the better of me and I need an outlet...
My Tarmac Black EVO has just arrived on the truck at the dealer this morning.
I'm picking it up Saturday morning. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance. Can't wait to drive it.
Now how do I get any work done for the rest of the day...

Thanks thanks an thanks (I'll even accept the ***** because I have been on the forum all day)...
No I won't be able to work and I definitely won't be sleeping...too much excitement and too much stuff to empty out of my GSX.
I was shocked. They actually called me as the truck pulled in and said to won't even be off the truck unitil after lunch today.
Here's the kicker...I'm out of town tomorrow all day, I'm coming back Sat. morning to get the car, then I have to drive a different car back out of town Saturday afternoon. Argh! I've waited 4 weeks and now I won't drive it until Sunday or Monday other than coming home from the dealership.
I have some factory cosmetic stuff to go on but I don't plan to touch it mechanically (except for maybe a K&N). This is only meant to be a fun street car and I'll keep to racing the other cars. The better a car is for racing the worse it is for the street and after owning and racing my last street car I promised myself I'd keep them seperate.
42 hours and counting......

I know the feeling. I got mine in March so I haven't even seen one in real life yet. When I got to the dealer, I knew there was one on the showroom floor but I didn't look at it. The first Evo my eyes would lay on would have TO BE MINE! Then after a few minutes with the salesperson, there she was. I'll never forget it. Have fun dude.
