first of all..this is not a big decal ricer thread..

i recently got some body damage repaired and repainted...one of them is my trunk.. so yesterday i decided i debage my trunk to have the clean look...but after removing the three diamond emblem (mitsubishi).. i noticed the paint is darker behind it and shape of the emblem was engraved into the paint... instead of having it repainted or buying another emblem.. i thought about just putting a small decal there to cover it up.. can someone help me out? something unique and non ricey.....i was thinking about the "shocker" decal..lol

Erm the shocker right where the mitsu logo wouldnt look too good imo. There was some guy at hin whpo had one right above his exhaust tip on the rear bumper, which looked sick (imo). umm i'ce seen few modifed mitsu logo ones placed there, but i can't find any of those pics.

no.. its not going to come out... the sign is like engraved in the paint...
i tried hand buffing..clay bar..car polish.. its not coming out.. its deep enough to be felt by hand...

i was thinkin about the carbon emblem but that kind of defeat the purpose of me debadging the car in the first place...

so if i use the tampax sticker... it will then say: "Tampax Evolution VIII"

 

That would work. I will ask my bodyshop guy tomorrow if they make something for that. Maybe the trunk was "cleared" with the emblem on it? I will let you know what he says tomorrow.

 

screw it just get a carbon fiber trunk, itll solve your problem. lol

 

lol...wish i had the money.. i think they painted the trunk and just taped the emblems..plus the paint job isn't top notch either..only way i can think of is resanding and repainting which isn't very cost efficient.. any ideas?

i really like the kill decal on the GSC time attack car..looks bad ***..lol

That's domo. He's Japanese. "madd tyte jdm yo!!" The ones they sell on their site are smaller than that though, I think. If I had an Evo, I'd get a small one of that put on my windshield in the bottom passenger corner. I like.

edit: Actually, he's not really domokun, but like a knockoff, but still him IMO.
