Car Covers?
#16
I'm in Montana, and when I get my evo ix I'd like a cover that will stand up to at least a foot of snow/ice because it will be sitting outside for a year or two till I can move off the air force base. Will the one from mitsu be sufficient? Will I have need to reneforce it? Also is there any way to secure it so the wind doesn't pull it off?
Thanks.
Thanks.

get the covercraft made cover- it is much more substantial than the mitsu sold one. I have the covercraft evolution fabric, got it from autoanything. If you search you'll see this is a popular cover here; this same thread comes up a lot. Oh, IIRC it does have grommets for securing.

Here is a brand new OEM car cover on the first page of the classifieds. The sale is pending, so you might want to inquire if interested.

You have to call them for a wingless cover. Ordered online, they're cut for Evos with wings.
As mentioned above, the car has to be clean. Otherwise, there's a good chance of damaging the paint with the cover. Good luck.
