Specifically speaking of the NOS brand stuff. I have no idea. I get 116 here.
I guess you never heard of unleaded race gas?

I am just figuring best bang for your buck. If the 10 dollar bottle of nos octane booster will raise my octane 4-6 full points then I would definitely think it would be worth it, as I don't have an option for race gas at this time.

As far as this goes is this a joke or are you serious. How much improvement is there?

Go to Lowes or Home Depot....

Buy 1 gallon of Xylene
Buy a lil bottle of 2 stroke oil
Buy a gallon gas can

Pour 1 gallon of xylene in the gas can, and add the lil bottle of 2 stroke oil. Put the lid on the can and start shaking it up and then pour it in your gas tank.

Simple and works.....

Xylene can be a good octane booster, but you need to have a better understanding of what your doing with it before you go dumping it in the tank.

Heres a little more info:

the article said it will only increase 91 octane up to about 93.5.

but thats all you need if you don't have a flash down.
