rubbing sound...only when its raining?
I noticed a loud rubbing sound coming from what sounds like the right front of the engine bay, and it gets louder as my rpms increase, and it only happens when its raining outside..when it starts making the noise while my car is idle, it starts vibrating almost as if its about to stall....
what could be causing this?

You still have your front under panel in place, right? If not, water could be splashing up there and getting to the belts.
I have rubbing noises in the rain but it's not from teh engine bay.
I have the first generation Megan catback and one of the flanges is within an inch of the driveshaft. When it rains, the water hits the pipe and causes it to warp inwards - rubbing against the driveshaft. The noises can get loud and could probably be mistaken as coming from the front.
I had a friend grind down the flange a bit and it only happens once in awhile.
I see that you don't have a megan, but you could look to see if you have an exhaust flange that is very close to your driveshaft.
