Transferring aftermarket parts from an evo to an sti
I just want to confirm, but im transferring some parts from my evo to my sti.
i have some parts below that i will be transferring:
1. Greddy Type S BOV
2. HKS turbo timer
3. Apex SAFC
4. Hallman Manual Boost Controller
Those 4 parts above, I want to transfer to the STI. Are all of them possible to be transferred?
for each part above, i think ill be needing some additional things, i just wanna make sure
1. sti flange
2. sti ingition adapter (i dont want to hardwire it)
3. none
4. none

^an example of the negative evo/sti rivalry.
STi is an awesome car as well. Good luck with it I sometimes wish I would have got a 05 STi instead of a 2nd evo (not because i dont like the evo but just to have experienced both). you prob meant harness instead of "ignition adaptor" btw. If youre going to run the MBC on the STi, i'd say just keep it on stock boost level and let it just maintain it through the powerband. That iHi turbo is poop compared to the 16g

STI sounds so much better than an Evo does with an aftermarket exhaust it's almost worth a trade-in in it's own right.
That rumble makes me moist. Unfortunately the visual aspect of the STI is a tad too mild and rounded for my taste.
edit: The list is spot on. I don't know if what the guy said about the MBC said is true, but it's definitely something you should research.

1. It would work but if is venting to atmosphere it will run rich between shift= not good.
2. You don't needed if you run a water cooled turbo.
3. Get a real engine management. Lol There is even free software to tune your car like enginuity... from looking at your post I would take it to a tuner.
4. It will work but you get PTFB (partial trottle full boost) is not good to see full boost while your car is in closed loop (lean).
Is great when I run across guys like poster (# 4, 7) all laugh in the beggining but all butt hurt at the end. lol

Having had both car's the Evo is the better choice imo. Easier to mod feel's more nimble, and you rarely see it on the street compared to the scoobie's. If you want a good sound get a V8.
