Glovebox opening problem

occasionally my glovebox will just open on its own. Damn annoying and embarrasing for a 34k car..any solutions?

Fix the mechanism or buy another one.

Mine does the same thing. You just gotta close it a little harder than normal. I got in the habit of closing it then pulling down a bit on it to make sure it don't open. Just one of those little annoying things that isn't worth spending money or effort trying to fix.

you ever mess with the stuff behind the box like the ecu or air filter? maybe the hooks on the bottome othe box aren't seater right? or you dinged the latch on the box? if all else fails, start filing.. ha
