What do you think of the Invidia N1 style cat back for the EVO? I have a link below to a pic of it, and price. The reason I ask is, I ran into someone who had this on a 2004 pink evo (yes, thats right, hot pink) today and it had a very low cool idle, lots of base. Ultra rev says its strong in mid to high powergains , but what about low? Anyone know? LOVE the sound, never heard a single 4 cyl car ever sound like that before.

first of it's not American IDOL its IDLE

second...I had the Invidia N1 on my STi and it was the loudest full exhaust I have ever heard on a car (Invidia downpipe also)

Invidia makes quality pieces and tend to have deep tones

that exhaust on a suby has to be 2x louder lol....my friend has a Ti on his and its almost unbearable....but he loves it.

I think this is the same exhaust SC Mitsu was giving away in one of their monthly specials

looks cool to me with power gains i think all exhausts on a mostly stock car, especially just a cat back will yield nearly the same power gains across the power band so i wouldnt worry about it just pick an exhaust that you like the sound of and go with it

I have this exhaust on my IX and love the way it sounds...great deep-low sound at idle and at cruising speeds and it screams like a banshee when at wot. its full 3" too, no tapering at all. great welds, easy to install and fully polished ss w/ thick flanges

hope this helps...

I don't know how loud it could be with that massive resonator but the piece looks good. If you want the loudest try the Greddy Ti. You won't be disappointed.
