alot of vibration when driving

ok almost everytime i drive the car especially when it sits for a few days or so the car vibrates alot. it kinda feels like the tires need to be balanced. but once the car has be driven for a while it seems to go away. i thought it was the 19" toyos but i had put on the stockers and it did the same thing. has anyone experienced this before?

No, first thing I checked was tire pressure.

Have you had an alignment recently?

No they get flat on the bottom from sitting for a long time.

well if the same thing happens with two different set of wheels I would think it's an alignment or suspension issue

After sitting for a while, the tires have a flat spot from contact with the ground.
Once your tire heats up it should be ok.

it's most pronounced when you drive in cold weather, let it sit for a day or two, and take it out again.

When the vehicle sits for a while the part that is against the ground conforms to it and creates a flat spot. The flat spot should go away after a few minutes of driving. Some brands of tires are more prone to it than others. I think Pirellis are particularly bad for flat-spotting. This has nothing to do with an alignment and wheel bearings usually just make a howling noise and don't cause a vibration.

thanks for the reply guys. it makes sense that it can be flat spots. today it was more pronounced but it did sit for a week. I also tend to baby it until it smooths out.

and for the alignment it got one before i got the car but i think i might get it redone since it does feel like it wants to pull to the right sometimes.

Well, if it pulls to the right you might have a separated belt. Rotate the front tires to the back and see if it helps.
