The best way to buy a car is online, because, not only are you guranteed the best price in a binding online contract, all you have to do is go to the dealership, sign the paperwork and leave with your car, no haggling, no bull****.

Maybe they are right and the EVO8 is done in '03 and will be no more, but maybe that is because the EVO9 arrives in the spring of '04 (as an '04) with the "new" Lancer styling.

If that is the case then we are all very lucky lucky EVO8 owners, because the EVO9 looks like kah-kah from the pics that were posted earlier!

Or maybe the "EVO" will become that COLT EVO hatchback in '04 too, meaning the Lancer EVO is a 1 year import... It would likely utterly own the STi due to the size and weight differences!

I guess we'll all just have to wait a few more months before knowing what is really going to happen.

I love the Colt Evo, did you see how short the wheelbase is on that thing? I could only imagine how well that thing must manuver.

Honestly... you are correct!!

I'd almost certainly trade up. A lightweight Colt EVO with a 4G63 would be utterly insane. I need one of those BAD!!

Stock they would likely OWN even a Z06 due to the weight difference. Well... at least till the C6 Z06 comes out, supposedly weighing less than 2800lbs and with 500 horses under the hood, that would likely give a 300 horse Colt EVO a run for it's money

Whatever that EVO looks mean as ****.

It reminds me so much of the 6 i just cant stand it. Aweasome rear wheel flares and foglights up front to boot. What more can you ask for? It looks like their best model year..

so you are saying that VIII should look like an OZ. But look at the new 2004 "regular lancers"...a lot of similarities to the evo VIII.
