It's funny....remember all those years WE ask dad for the keys to the car? Now it's a complete roll reversal...kinda like "you come in the world wearing diapers, and you leave it the same way!?!?!"

When I thought about my dad potentially wrecking my car and how expensive it would be to get fixed I forced myself to say in my head "little league, private school, soccer, summer camps, braces, college...". It sorta puts it in perspective.

Thats funny, my father's the same way. He owns a 65' GTO convertible with a 421big block and a tir-power. Before I owned the EVO it was always like, "Dad, can I take the GTO for a ride." Hes answer was always like, "Mike you know im not sapposed to let you because of this reason and that reason." Now its totally the opposite, "Mike can i take the EVO out." and I he and haw for a while. Of course my EVO will take the GTO and eat it up and spit it out in little pieses. But he knows that. He sold me the car from the dealership he works at.

My Dad has driven my 05....I don't know if I would say he was blown away or anything but he was definitely surprised how quick it was for a 4-door 4-cylinder.

Oh, he drives a 02 Corvette Z06 supercharged with many mods. Hehe

Don't put it off! I just lost my father, so take it from me. Treasure your time with him and if you share an interest, embrace it.
