The lack of competition is not the reason we are not going.
BFG has been good to us and they are not against us competing, they are against us being portrayed as a Hankook tire car. Will will not only not be able to run the BFG stickers on the car but hankook is requiring that we run all their stickers on the car and not make any metion of BFGoodrich tires
BFgoodrich cannot legally tell us not to do this but what kind of a company would we be if we completely smacked our sponsor like that in the face?
The problem lies with the actual event itself and GRM not letting us know before hand that this would be the case. Had we know this we would not of even entered. I really don't know what they were thinking inviting the best of the best and expecting them not to have tire sponsors. GRM admitted it was wrong but Hankook has the wheel on this one.
Trust us, we want to compete in this very badly and we are very confident that we would do very well. We just don't think its right our car getting publicity with hankook on it when they have done NOTHING for us and BFG has done everything.
We are very sorry if this disapoints some fans out there. Trust me I was beside myself when Hankook refused to let us run with our stickers.
AMS has always been a company with high morals and lots of integrity, this is just another test. Thanks again to all that voted us in. Not to worry Buschur and AMS will still have a chance to go at it in vegas at the EVO tuner shootout

I'm sure BFG appreciates it, we just always want to see all guns firing in terms of vendors/shops competing, plus I had a lil pool going on who would win the sticker war with my roomate haha
Spring mountain will be quite the venue, it's going to be one helluva shootout eric!!!

Good Luck Buschur. Make sure you post the results, and some vids would be great. Sorry to hear AMS is out, but really... they are being loyal to the company that has supported them. Way to go guys.

Here's the list of entrants. There's some "serious" cars attending... http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/new...-challenge.php
serious is an understatment.
There are gonna be some very fast cars out there. Best of luck to Buschur.
I have to be honest, that 505hp z06 powered car that weighs 2200Lbs scares me a little.

25 people work at AMS. Only myself and Chris are going to PR and that is not stopping the car from going anywhere. If your statement were true we would not be going to the redline event the same weekend.
Jarrod is right, this is buschur's thread and we should keep it that way. I just wanted to clear up any confusion. Thanks again guys
Good luck to Team Buschur. Make us proud!
