FWIW, my friend and I took his EVO making 320awhp road racing Sunday on the infield of Texas Motor Speedway and with a stock clutch, often punching it at high RPM, and had no problems. Getting caught behind traffic, we'd often have to wait for an opening and then gun it about 4500rpm and run it up through the top of 4th while drifting this way and that before the hairpin U turns and the clutch was not a problem at all.

We only launched at the start of the sessions, but there was no problem their either.
