Question Laser protection

I'm pretty sick of getting speeding tix . I've been driving like an old lady lately, but I still worry about making that one mistake of going just a bit too fast at just the wrong time... It seems like that's how I've gotten my last couple of tickets (that and driving eye-catching high performance cars).

Anyway, I've got a radar detector and it works well, It also tell me when I get targeted by laser, but of course, by then it is too late . So far I've been lucky because I was not speeding, but I got picked out from a group of cars by the local cops... I decided to get a laser protection device, has anybody used one of these? I've ordered a Bel Laserpro 904..... Anybody heard of it?

Thanks

well, if you're sick of speedong tickets, i'd say save your money and (this is just a shot in the dark) DONT SPEED. use the $$ you'd spend on gadgets and go to a track, or an autoX, etc. I'm not preaching how speeding is horrible, b/c i do it myself, you dont even notice in the evo that you're flying, but when it gets to the point that i'm looking for multiple expensive devices to avoid tickets b/c I've had so many lately, i'm just gonna go ahead and slow down.

as for your question, sorry, never heard of it specifically, but i have friends who would spend hundreds on radar detectors and scramblers etc. they never really helped much. one of them then became a cop, and told me never to bother spending on them. as the detectors, scramblers etc. are always a step behind what is being used, and doesn nothing for when you're being followed, or an airplane is spotting your speed.

Escort/Pasport ZR3 i think is the model for their laser jammer. Very effective. I've seen test done in front of my eyes. The cops won't know you're using either because you can set it to send the cop's laser gun a 55-66 mph reading so no errors on their gun. Errors make experienced laser cops suspicious and they will probably pull you over and say you were "looking suspicious" or some bull**** like that just to look and see if you are jamming them. It's actually legal somehow ??

I have a full K40 2000 with a Laser Defuser Plus. Works awesome and I have been using K40 for years. No problems as of yet and I don't expect any.

www.radartest.com has some reports on those devices. The radar jammers are illegal for sure because they broadcast radio signals.... Plus I hear they don't work or they just extend the range of the radar!!!

I was coming over a hill and my laser went off on my valentine one. I slowed from 80 to 65 in time. The cops let me go and pulled someone else over that I had passed before the hill. I might have gotten lucky but I really like V1.

Transmission of radio frequencies is regulated by the FCC. While lasers are requlated by the FDA presently. That's why laser shifters are legal while radar jammers are not.

All it took was one speeding ticket for me to stop 'speeding'.....but I know what he's trying to say. I mean who here actually does 40 in a 40.....or does 25 in a 25. From what I understand....looks like he's being targeted for as something as trivial as doing 5 over the speed limit...

Man, you sure are judgemental.... Read my post again, I'm driving like an old lady anymore... I get passed now by about 80-85% of drivers in the expressway. The trouble is that like most guys who drive these cars, I will from time to time forget the danger and nail the pedal for a second or two.... Guess what, my luck ran bad a couple of times and I got a couple of tickets. I'm by no means the fastest guy in the street, but I do drive "fast looking" cars, I hope you dont get tickets either, but you sure are coming off sounding like some kind of self righteous, judgemental prig. I bet you too break the speed limit from time to time, lighen up...
