I finally got to drive one

I will never valet ever since my parents Grand Cherokee got slamed into by a valet driving a Mercury Mountaineer. He parked the Jeep in a valet spot and decided to do a Richard Burns impersionation with the Mercury.
This story just makes me even more against valet parking. You want a test drive, go to the dealership.

Well, as someone who's stuck parking cars right now (this economy sucks), what you did would get your *** fired (if you worked for me). Like I don't have enough people coming into where I work telling me how they hate valets and valet parking. What company do you work for, because I'll make sure I never park in one of their lots.
Since I've been in Cali, I've only parked one Evo, and it was a J-Spec RHD Evo VI with dealer plates. Put him right up top, double-parked. Needless to say, the owner was very happy (and surprised I knew it was a 6).
Advice to all Evo owners who don't like valet parking, always ask what it will take to keep your car up top. Usually 10 bucks will do, sometimes 20. Better than having some punk take your car out for a little joy ride. And to the person who posted this thread, your ARE a punk.
