Defi Gauges Flashing [Serial Error Check]
My gauges all of a sudden just stopped working while driving. Oil pressure dropped to zero and scared the **** out of me and now they are blinking in intervals of two.
Oil Pressure is siting at two kPa and the rest are at 0. Two blink at the same time, the other at a different time but all three in intervals of two.
This is what I got from the manual. Confused. Checked all connections and they appear to be fine.

well apparently they're not.
could be more than just the direct connections behind the gauges and the control unit.
unlikely, but the wires could be damaged between the units hidden away under your dash.
looks like you'll have to pull it all out and check it thoroughly.

Just checked it out and you were right. The lines to the oil pressure sensor are torn apart.
I unlinked the Oil Pressure gauge and just ran boost and EGT and it was still acting up. Strange.
